Hi friends!
Lots of random thoughts to share today, so I'm linking up (for the first time) with lowercase letters
So here we go...
{ONE}
This is my first child, Socks. We found him abandoned in a field. He was so tiny when we found him - his eyes hadn't even opened and we had to bottle feed him. He is now 18-years-old! (That is 89 in cat years - I think?!?). I'm very sad to report he has a broken leg :( He used to be a outside/inside cat, but in his old age something attacked him a few weeks ago (still not sure what he got in a fight with?). Now he is old and crotchety and very upset he has to wear this cast. We are all hoping it heals soon because being hurt during the summertime is no fun, especially when you're 89.
{TWO}
Thank goodness for these cheap popsicles
2.99 for a bag of like 30 - I'm addicted
{THREE}
And, thank goodness for a pool
no explanation needed
{FOUR}
This is my pool partner...
{FIVE}
I'm obsessed with the Starbucks Via
For instant coffee, it's awesome
{SIX}
This guy...
gets the husband of the year award for going with me to see Harry Potter last night
This is sort of what his face looked like when I asked him to go see it with me...
He was able to suffer through it with a medium bag of popcorn and large coke
(his dinner)
(we are so heeealttthy!)
{SEVEN}
Harry Potter is epic
you must
must
go see it!
Hope everyone had a Happy Monday!
xx.

Awww poor Socks! Hope he gets better soon!
I just love this post. :) But poor Socks, his little cast is heartbreaking! I bet you are treating him with lots of half & half or deli turkey!
I love miscellaneous posts. They're always so fun to read. Poor Socks!!! I hope his leg heals quickly!
Your cat is so cute! Poor thing...hope he feels better soon! And I'm glad I'm not the only adult obsessed with those popsicles. I had to quit buying them because I would eat 2-3 a day! So addicting! Oh well, better than ice cream I guess.
I hope Socks gets to feeling better soon. It's sad when they get to be that age because you know what's coming. I cry if even start to think of our animals getting old. I would give anything to have a pool down here in this heat. When we buy or build a house we are definitely putting one it if there's not one already. We both see eye to eye on that one lol :)
That poor poor cat, she looks miserable!
And the look on your husband's face is priceless. Mine makes the same one too, it's like, "huh?" :-)
I had a serious addiction to Freezee Pops (as I call them). I could/would eat a dozen a day! So refreshing!
And yes, HP was EPIC!
Poor little Socks! That has got to be the cutest, saddest picture ever!
Your sweet Socks! I hope he recovers easily!
I LOVED how Harry Potter turned out! They did such a good job with it!
And I want a pool too!
Socks newsflash---he now has a smaller lightweight cast (for another 6 weeks). He's still an ill pill though.
I love the look on T's face. Poor thing.
How did I leave a comment under your name??
I loved Harry Potter!
Poor kitty!!
I never saw enough of the Harry Potters to know what was going on with this one. My kids went to the midnight showing - and I was the driver. I made two seperate trips to the theatre, since different ones were going at different times. Then, I picked them up at 2am. I probably should have just seen the movie!
xo
Ashlyn
so sorry about your sweet cat! i know you hate seeing them so pitiful.
I love the look on your husband's face in that picture :) My husband has just started reading the Harry Potter series after 3 years of harassment from me and is getting really into it. We went to see the movie this past weekend too and loved it!!! I'm so sad that it's the last movie :(
poor Socks, hope his leg gets better soon!!
poor little cat!! i'm still dying to see HP! maybe this weekend :)
Poor little Socks! He looks really cute in his cast though.
poor cat!! I agree about the popsicles..little caloric intake and LOTS of pleasure!! I live at the pool too..the water hasn't been as refreshing here in Columbia, SC but it is better than nothing!
Poor cat! The Harry Potter fans that I've talked to loved the movie. One of the junior high kids in our Sunday school class talked all about it on Sunday morning, is that wrong that we let him tell us all about it? Oh well, sounds like it was great! Enjoy your popsicles and pool! We are sweating it out here in Texas.
andrew and i begin harry potter book number 1 this weekend! can't believe i've waited this long, but look forward to reading i out loud together!
Poor kitty! Popsicles + pool buddy=perfection
You crack me up! And poor kitty. :(
Awww, good luck to your kitty! And I LOVE those freezy pops, and luckily they're not many calories either!
