The leaves are not only changing, but FALLING
T is having a hard time keeping up
After all, our yard in Savannah was a tad smaller
There are leaves everywhere and I love it
maybe because I don't have to rake them!
Summer used to be my favorite time of year (for obvious reason)
but I'm now officially a Fall fan
It's cooler...
No gnats...
(a South Georgia problem!)
The smells are wonderful
We get to have fires
(on some nights)

And some exciting news to share!
We adopted a cat!
Our first child!!!
Meet Birdie
she is precious and sweet and well-behaved and she is already potty trained!
Here she is enjoying the leaves in the backyard
We are slowly introducing her to the outdoors, so right now she is a house cat.
She loves to snuggle, so her mother is perfectly fine with her being indoors for now!
We love our new child.
In other news, I've become obsessed with Top Chef Texas
I've never watched Top Chef before, but I'm loving it!
Is anyone else watching?

I'm not ready to start raking leaves. I remember last year we raked our front and back yard and wound up with like 43580435084 bags! What a cute kitty!

Congrats on your new kitty! Yes, fall is my favorite season - we got married in the fall because of the wonderful weather and beautiful colors. Although, we raked leaves last weekend and given how sore I was the next day, I cursed fall just a bit. Will have to try that candle. :)

Birdie...what a cute name! Yes, OBSESSED w/ Top Chef! I'm always a little amazed when I come across somebody who does not watch it. So good. I want to find that Trapp candle to smell it now.
