Quack!

Happy Easter!
The Easter bunny brought my Mom some Easter ducks!

And
they are the cutest things I have ever seen!
Ever, Ever

They are Pekin ducks, like the Aflac duck, and will eventually turn white
Mom has been wanting some ducks for awhile now
We have a pond behind our house that will be their new home once they get a bit older

They love to stick together
And they will follow you around like you are their Mama Duck

The only problem is this little guy...

He seems a little too interested in his new siblings!
Don't worry though, they are being kept at a safe distance!
Come here my pretties!
HELP!!!

After church, we decided to all pose for our Easter picture
How many people does it take to pose a dog?

Eventually, we got it right!
Isn't she a happy puppy?

Then it was time to eat
rather to stuff ourselves!
T ate till he was sick

After lunch the ducks went for a quick dip in the hot tub!

They love to stand on the ledge and then hop back into the pool

After a wonderful Easter visit with my parents and brother (who just got a job and is graduating next weekend - yay!), we headed back to the lake

T has some left over worms and decided to throw a line in

Hope everyone had a great Easter!
It has truly been a special one for us!

Awww, make way for ducklings! Happy Easter to you and yours. Looks like it was a wonderful day. Your dress is lovely! My hubby would be so jealous to see that your day ended by dropping a line into the lake. He's dying for a good day of fishing!

Ooooohhh those duckies are so cute!! Two of our cats were outside and saw a bunny and chased it around (they wore out first.) I had to laugh at how the cat was looking at those ducks.
Looks like you had a great day!

The ducks are too cute! It was a popular thing to do my senior year (a local store was selling them), and it seemed like the entire campus had baby ducks! So fun :)

Cute little ducklings. We have a pond in our neighborhood, but they aren't the pretty ones. They are nice to have and our boys love to feed them.

Love your Easter dress, so pretty!

Glad you had a great time with your family.

I don't know if I knew you guys had a German shepherd (maybe I just forgot?) but Ian and I are obsessed with them ... they are supposed to be amazingly smart dogs! We have a husky/malamute now and I think the two are pretty similar breeds.

Do I spy Allen's green beans on your Easter table? Nothin like 'em ... love them! :) Happy Easter!
