Fabulous Beekman Boys

I was at the salon the other day talking with my hairdresser about our favorite shows
He mentioned

The Fabulous Beekman Boys

via

I had never heard of them, but I found their show on
OnDemand

And I was hooked...

The house, the lifestyle, the hilarity of two city boys who move to the country
oh, and then there is Martha Stewart

The show follows two New Yorkers, Brent and Josh, who bought a farm in upstate New York
Brent used to work for the one and only, Martha Stewart, and she makes several appearances on their show
You even get to see her barn in one episode
(although you can't really call it a barn - it apparently smells like lemons)

The duo make soaps, caramel sauce, and cheese
And they are hilarious!

They had me at the house...

Do you think they need a maid?
I would clean toilets to live here!

Is it not divine?!

Brent left his job with Martha and works on the farm full-time, while Josh still works in the city and commutes to the farm on the weekend.

Love

They also have a beautiful barn

They also have a llama
named
Polka Spot

and lots of goats
via

They have a awesome garden

They have an online store and I'm just itching to buy something

Maybe some of their cheese
I love cheese

or some soaps

If you're interested in learning more
check them out

Anyway, its a fun show and if you have OnDemand I'd check it out - Its on the Planet Green channel
They also have a great blog and several wonderful, informative articles in Food & Wine Magazine
Does anyone take Food & Wine?

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
Thanks for all your sweet comments about our big move!
We are knee deep in boxes and packing paper, but grinning from ear to ear!
Much Love!

Ohhh, what a fabulous recommendation. I've never heard of these two, but it sounds like it would be right up my alley. Anything Martha touches, I normally adore.

I'll have to figure out how to use my OnDemand and watch a few episodes.

Hope you had a great weekend! xo

This is my dream life!! I would make bread, tend the garden and play with the goats all day!

Sadly, I don't have cable or I would be all about watching this. :(

I think I am going to love this show. I've got some last-minute wedding invites to address (only 5!) so I think I'll do this today while watching the Beekman Boys. :)
