Big News

No, we aren't having a baby Duncan
(which is what everyone has guessed when I say, "We've got some news!")

WE ARE MOVING!

T has been given the opportunity to work for his family's business, which means we will be moving to his hometown of Americus in Southwest Georgia

We feel truly blessed to be given this opportunity -
It's a chance for us to be sooooo much closer to both our families
which is something we've wanted since the moment we got married!

We realize that now is not the best time to sell a house, but we are keeping our fingers crossed!

In the meantime, we will be living at T's parent's lake house!

Our new (temporary) home!
How many people can say they've lived in a pink house before!
Love it!

This change is something we've prayed about and are so happy about!
Although, it will be stressful to move
and selling a house
and I don't have a job yet
its the chance for us to live a small town Southern life, which is something we want for ourselves and our future children!
So happy to share the news with all my blog friends!
Can't wait to keep y'all updated throughout the entire process!
Very excited!

Congats! One of my best friends from college lives in Jefferson...is that near where you're from? I saw Athens on the map near your hometown and I know that's close.

Okay, I admit that I thought baby! I'll be praying for you as you enter into this time of transition. I know you are thrilled for the opportunity to be closer to family and live in a small town. Thanks for sharing your exciting news. By the way, we're planning a trip to Georgia to visit family this summer, but it's North Georgia not South.

Congratulations - sounds wonderful! Try not to stress over the house. We sold ours last summer in less than a week and our friends recently sold theirs in Texas to move back here. So, it appears that in parts of the South, the housing market is improving. How fun that you get to reside in a lake house for the time being! Best of luck to you and your hubby!
