Hoooneymoon: Part Deux

I'm anxious to show part two of our honeymoon
I'll dream that I'm back in Paris!

So, after we checked into our hotel, we took a serious nap
Jet lag really hit me hard - We really struggled adjusting to the time differnce!

So after our nap, we headed out to explore Paris!
We were so excited to be on our honeymoon and in such a great place, it really was one of the best days of my life!

Everything in Paris was so fresh
from the flowers
to the chicken
and pork

One of our first stops was Notre Dame Cathedral
the first cornerstone was laid in 1163!
1163!

It was beautiful inside and out
The amount of work and detail is unbelievable!

Next stop was dinner
This was probably the cheapest dinner we had our entire honeymoon, but it was my favorite
Can you tell how refined my palate is?

I think it was my favorite because it was where we had our first glass of French wine
We had a three course meal over three hours
The French know how to eat...

Why does the wine taste better in Paris?!?

French onion soup - so yum!
After dinner, we went to an outdoor cafe and to drink more wine
And we made some French friends, who we talked with for hours!
See, the French are nice!

The next day we awoke, had another fabulous breakfast of croissants and fresh squeezed orange juice
and headed to the Eiffel Tower!

While waiting in line, T almost got lost in the crowd behind us!
Ha!

We went all the way to the top, but this is view of Paris was taken two floors up
I know everyone probably feels like they have to go to the top, but if you're claustrophobic, don't forget your anti-anxiety medicine...
Good Grief!
You can barely move up there!  I almost had a breakdown (I am extremely claustrophobic)!

Anyway, I survived, and to regroup, we stopped for a beer and Coke
Ok, why doesn't America have bottled Cokes everywhere like France?
A bottled Coke is so much better than a canned Coke!!!

The outdoor market was right next to the cafe we stopped at
Loved all of the outdoor markets!

If I lived here, I think I would shop here everyday!

Fresh fruits...

CHEESE
(my favorite)

meats...

a little bit of everything!

gorgeous flowers!

Can't you just tell how happy I am?!?

Well, thats it for Part 2!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Much love!

Also, I love love love the blazer you are wearing in your last photo of part 2. Where is it from? I've been on the search for the perfect blazer for years and still have yet to discover it. Yours looks perfect!

Love, love, love your pics of Paris! Looks like ya'll had an amazing time. My hubby and I are going to go to Italy for our 20th which is only 4 years away YEAH! Anyway, I'm worried I won't want to come back home once I get there. I have even checked into citizenship...it is very hard to become a citizen there BTW. Oh, well I can dream.
