So, here it is...

Isn't it pretty?  Very classic, I'd say!

On the cover is an original oil painting by Ray Ellis.
It's entitled "An Oyster Roast" and was specifically designed for the Savannah JL.
Love it!

...and it's got the stamp of approval from Southern Living!

It's got great content -
Its got the usual - cakes, pies, poultry, vegetables,
but
my favorites are the Savannah specialty menus
including the...

Telfair Ball Dinner
Oyster Roast!!! (which lists - "plenty of cold beer and soft drinks")  :)  Very practical!
St. Patrick's Day Buffet
Savannah Summer Style

Also, it's got a great seafood recipes!
and drumroooolllllll please!

I love my JL cookbooks! I don't have one from Savannah though! Sign me up. And my favorite cookbook of all time: Barefoot Contessa Paris. I believe I have made every single recipe and I probably make something of hers weekly, if not almost daily. Happy cooking!! Oh, and your previous post - thanks for the book recs. I'm always looking for a good new reads. I wasn't wild about Firefly Lane but my book club loved it. Another great winter read is "City of Thieves" if you haven't read it. I read it last year and LOVED it. xo, Tess

I'm a follower and hopelessly addicted to cookbooks. I would so love to add this one to my collection. My favorite cookbook is probably the America's Test Kitchen Family Cookbook. It is AMAZING, I have all three, the family baking book, the family cookbook and the healthy family cookbook.

I'm a follower, and I love cookbooks. I guess out of loyalty I must say that my favorite is the Greenville JL book, Uptown Down South, and, of course, Charleston Receipts is a must-have. And all of Ina's!

I just found your blog from *Sarah Elizabeth* and I'm so happy I did because I would LOVE a chance to win such a beautiful cookbook! I've been obsessed with Savannah even since I read Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil so I'd love a little bit of Savannah in my home in France!
I'm following you now :-)
And my favorite cookbook is Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking, it's taught me so much.

Hi!

First of all, thank you for the lovely comments on my blog - you're so sweet.

Secondly, what a fab giveaway. I'd love a bit of Southern living in my home in Italy. Those punch recipes sound amazing.

My favourite recipe book is my mum's hand made notebook where she has written in all of her favourite recipes over the years. The pages are stained and sticking together but it has all of my favourite recipes inside.

Thanks for such a lovely giveaway. Have a great weekend x x

Would love a chance to enter this giveaway! I am a cookbook junkie, a transplant to the South, and a lover of Southern cuisine. I don't own a single Southern-style cookbook! My current "other" favorites are by Jamie Oliver, Giada, and Nigella.

Thanks for organizing this! Have a great weekend!

I'd love to add the Savannah JL cookbook to my collection....so count me in!!! Keep up the great work!
