Its almost my bday...

Next Saturday is my bday
and next Sunday is T and I's 1st anniversary!
(Don't worry - he is not allowed to get away with only one gift)

I've decided that for my bday, I would like the following...

No. 1
Cupcakes
from
Georgetown Cupcakes

I'm seriously obsessed with the Cupcake Girls on TLC
(and I lurve their pink wellies)

Their cupcakes look divine
Has anyone actually ever had one of these delicious looking treats?!?

They just look soooooo
good

No. 2
I want to see The Help
I don't know if T can handle another chick flick, but I'm going to have to remind him how many Auburn games I've sat through...

Minny and Celia are by far my favorites
I didn't want their story to end!!!

No. 3
A new briefcase for my new job!

Nothing says old like getting a briefcase for your birthday...
I guess I better learn to love it....

xx.

There were tons of men in the Help and everyone enjoyed. In fact practically the entire row in front of me was all guys. It's not really a "chick flick".

When I moved to D.C I was so excited to try Georgetown Cupcakes! They are so pretty! We order them for meetings and receptions where I work which is nice because I avoid the long lines!

Happy early birthday! I love your birthday wish list. My sister Nellie is equally in love with Georgetown cupcakes, so for her graduation party, my mom ordered 2 dozen cupcakes from them. They came shipped in the cutest pink box with great black and white tissue paper, and were SO Delicious.

I did a post on them:http://teatimetess.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Also - I'm taking a personal day off from work, and I think I'm going to treat myself to The Help movie. I can't wait!

xo

P.S. I saw your post on Hannah's Blog, A Big Little Life, hooking her and I up as girlfriends, and we have been in touch for the last few months for her upcoming move to Chitown - but I thought your post was just adorable and so sweet. Wanted to let you know :)

HAPPY ALMOST BIRTHDAY! (I love to send snail mail so if you give me your address, something might just arrive for your birthday, friend!) Also, you'll love the movie! At least I loved it. Cried a lot, but still love it :)

oh girl, I wish we could go see The Help together...it would be so much fun!! Why dont you come to Hotlanta (or the burbs) for a quick trip! :0) Hope you have a fabulous birthday and anniversary...my hubby just gave me a beautiful cameo for our 22nd (I got married when I was 10) anniversary. Its got a black background vs. the corally colored ones you usually see. Love it, and love having a teenager who knows my taste!!! :0) Glad to hear you found a new job! Have a great weekend!! :0)

you MUST see "the help". i saw if with a group of girlfriends last weekend and we were all a weeping mess. it is better than the book IMO, and that NEVER happens. Never. I'd bake you some of my cupcakes (i make a mean cupcake) and take you to the movie if I lived a little closer. I might even break into a slightly off key rendition of "happy birthday" while we waited for the previews to start.
