So Blue...

...in a good way...
I have a serious obsession with...
blue and white!
Love this book by Carolyne Roehm - great for the coffee table!!!
Blue and white pottery...
Blue and white fabrics...
I think there is something so classic about the combination.

You just can't go wrong.

I've decorated our guest room in blue and white.
It's still got a ways to go,
but...
let me show you what I have so far...

This blue and white piece is currently holding guest towels -
no green thumb here!  :(

my new blue and white pot
which my friend donated to me :)
it needs some sort of plant that can't be killed

New vase I got over Christmas
All it needs is a bunch of white hydrangeas!

I found this cover in my stack of Southern Accents -
Love it!  So timeless...

Here are some more of my *inspiration* images for our guest bedroom!
Maybe one day our guest room will look like this...
In the meantime, I'll keep dreaming!

Love the chair and accent pillow fabric...
Love
and that lamp!!!

This is a little more French country chic.
So classic!
Love the checks!

Blue and white pottery collection
Such a great display!
I'd love to have a blue and white kitchen!

Blue and white - such a classic combo (and, I'm partial, too because that's my alma mater's colors!). Love how you've incorporated the colors into your home - makes me want to go shopping!

Oh, how I love blue and white. Be sure to see this month's Traditional Home--lots of great blue and white. Also, Target has some nice blue and white pillows, which you could have monogrammed . . . .

I love blue and white too - especially in kitchens. We saved a load of old blue and white tiles from the kitchen of the house we're renovating - we're hoping to put them back in our new kitchen eventually. I love your guest room, it looks so elegant but comfortable too.

Love it all! Blue is my favorite color. I was in Target the other day and they have some great blue and white pieces right now. So hard for me to leave them in the store!

The more I read your blog, the more I realize how alike we are! You are definitely right-- we could be good friends! I love blue and white as well. Check out Target, they currently have a blue and white line out! Also, I too lack a green thumb. Two years ago, I thought it would be a good idea to have a plant in my college bedroom; needless to say a month or so later, I took the DEAD plant home to my very green-thumbed father!
