Goin' to the Chapel...Part 2: Rehearsal

So I've managed to go through the rehearsal pictures and pick out a few, ok alot, that I had to share with y'all.  Sorry there are so many, but when it comes to wedding pictures, I say the more the merrier...

The rehearsal was actually more emotional for me than the actual ceremony - maybe because I was too nervous to cry the day of, or maybe I was just able to get it all out there.  Here is T's church - isn't it beautiful?  And it's big.  So, it was perfect!

My Dad and I watching everyone get lined up - he doesn't look too sure of this whole process!

Waiting in the wings..

Alright, that's better - he is beginning to perk up in this picture.  The lady in the purple was our wonderful wedding planner, who was actually T's 6th grade teacher.  Needless to say, wrangling our 19 person wedding party was nothing for her!

There goes my Dad again looking sad - We joke in our house that my brother is my mother's favorite and I'm my Dad's - typical "mama's boy"/ "daddy's girl" thing going on in our house.  Truth is, there really are no favorites, but its fun to pick on each other.  It was hard that first walk down the aisle with my Dad, but he and I both knew what a wonderful person I was marrying, so I that made it (a little bit) easier.

Lots of tears - and laughs!

Everyone had red eyes by the end - we all needed a glass of wine!

So to the rehearsal dinner we went!

My wonderful in-laws through our rehearsal dinner for us and it was at a fabulous restaurant called the Trellis.  The Trellis is pretty fancy for South Georgia - you would think this place should be in Buckhead!

Our rehearsal dinner was BIG, but it was so fun to get to see all of our family and friends in one spot - having a GREAT time...

The food and wine were amazing...

My friends really enjoyed the wine...

T's Mom and Grandmother, two of the nicest people I know.  T's grandmother is 91!

My parent's watching the slideshow

My beautiful Mom

My maid of honor giving her toast she had just finished saying to my Dad...

"Don't think tomorrow as you walk her down the aisle that your losing a daughter, just think of it as regaining your credit card."

How true...wish it wasn't.

And since it was my birthday, they gave me a cake...a strawberry cake!  My FAVORITE!

The crowd listening to the toasts

My Dad told T that if he wanted to marry me he had to put on a UGA tie - he obliged :)  MUCH to this dismay of his Auburn buddies...

All in all, it was a night filled with tears, laughter, and mostly, JOY.  We were beyond happy to be surrounded by the people who mean the most to us in the world!  Sorry this was soooo long, but I hope you enjoyed glimpsing into this special day - I'll post the ceremony and reception pictures soon!
